When I leaned my bike against the fence and followed the estate agent into the listed building, something unexpected happened. We opened the doors, and I fell instantly in love. The high ceilings, the old ornaments, the light coming in, the characterful rooms… The building had an atmosphere that struck me immediately. This is it, I knew. Before there was even a business, I had rented a 560 m² property.
It was 2012. In the middle of the economic crisis I decided to follow my heart anyway and create a place in the centre of The Hague where complementary specialists could establish themselves, collaborate and strengthen one another. That place became BLOOM – House of Health.
Slowly the first specialists came to BLOOM who wanted to rent spaces for their sessions and treatments, but many of the larger spaces remained empty. Fortunately, a growing demand emerged from ministries and companies for inspiring spaces that can be furnished to measure, and BLOOM began to fill up with team sessions, brainstorms, consultations and meetings.
After many years, 2026 was the time for a company name that more clearly reflects what the business stands for — and now the name BLOOM Rooms is a fact!
At the big table in one of the stately rooms I still enjoy telling the story: I think it is important that people come in happy and leave happy. Everyone is welcome to feel at home here. You can walk straight into the kitchen, make yourself a cup of tea, and feel free to take your jacket off even if you arrived in a sharp suit.
That relaxed feeling creates a natural cross-pollination. Organisations that rent spaces here regularly come back for a treatment or session with one of our specialists.
I am not a therapist myself. I am a biologist by training and have worked for many years as a manager in professional services, from IT to communications. Only after a burn-out and an intensive coaching programme did I discover where my real strength lies: I am not a specialist, but a generalist. I am someone who loves to facilitate, connect and create Room for others. That is how BLOOM Rooms was born!

Of course you can rent a room by the hour, but you can also set up a user's agreement with BLOOM. You then pay € 200,- to € 465,- per month for 10 to 40 hours of practice space per month*.
